Do Not Call Policy

Last Updated: November 21, 2025

Snoh Wellness Studios LLC (“Snoh Wellness”) is committed to respecting your communication preferences and privacy. We understand that you may wish not to receive certain types of phone calls or text messages. This Do Not Call Policy outlines our procedures for honoring “do not call” and “do not text” requests in compliance with applicable laws, including the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Federal Trade Commission’s Do Not Call (DNC) rules. Our goal is to ensure that individuals who do not want to be contacted for telemarketing or promotional purposes can easily opt out, and that those wishes are respected in a timely manner.

1. Our Commitment to Compliance

  • We comply with all federal and state telemarketing laws and regulations, including TCPA and DNC provisions, as well as industry guidelines for text messaging (CTIA guidelines). This means we only call or text you for promotional purposes if we have the appropriate consent, and we honor opt-out requests as required by law.

  • Snoh Wellness maintains an internal Do Not Call/Do Not Text list of telephone numbers of individuals who have requested not to receive promotional calls or texts from us. We regularly update and cross-check our contact lists against this internal DNC list to prevent unwanted communications.

  • We do not share our calling or texting lists with third-party marketers, nor do we make telemarketing calls on behalf of unrelated third parties. In the event we utilize a service provider to contact you (for example, an automated dialing service for appointment reminders), they are contractually required to follow this policy and applicable laws.

2. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to telemarketing and promotional communications made by Snoh Wellness via telephone or text message. “Telemarketing” means contacting you to promote or advertise our services (e.g., a special deal on class packages or a new program announcement).

This policy does not necessarily apply to other types of communications, such as:

  • Informational or Transactional Calls/Texts: We may still call or text you for non-marketing reasons, such as to confirm an appointment, provide a class reminder, or follow up on a service you requested. These are considered transactional or relationship messages, and a Do Not Call request will not stop these necessary communications. However, we aim to be mindful and will not overwhelm you – and you can always inform us if you prefer limited communications even for these matters.

  • Customer Service or Emergency Notifications: If we need to reach you regarding an urgent issue (for example, a last-minute class cancellation, a building emergency, or a response to an inquiry you made), we may do so even if you are on the Do Not Call list, as allowed by law. We will limit such communications to the purpose at hand and not include marketing content.

  • Existing Business Relationship: If you have an ongoing relationship with us (for instance, you are currently an active client or recently inquired about our services), we may contact you in accordance with applicable exemptions to DNC rules. However, if you request to not be contacted, we will honor that request as described below, regardless of any exemption.

We want to emphasize that we primarily contact individuals who have given consent or have a relationship with Snoh Wellness. We do not engage in random cold-calling of individuals who have no connection to our studio. Most of our calls or texts are in response to your actions (like booking a class or requesting info) or with your opt-in. This Policy is in place to cover any promotional outreach and to ensure compliance and respect for your preferences.

3. How to Opt-Out of Calls and Texts
If you prefer not to receive telemarketing calls or texts from Snoh Wellness, you have several options to opt out:

  • By Phone: You can call us at (504) 784-1151 and inform us that you want to be placed on our internal Do Not Call list. Please clearly provide the phone number(s) you wish to restrict. If you reach a voicemail, include your name (optional) and the phone number to be added to the Do Not Call list.

  • By Email: Send an email to info@snohwellness.com with the subject line “Do Not Call Request.” In the body of the email, please include the telephone number(s) at which you no longer wish to be contacted. If you also wish to opt out of text messages, specify that in your request (though generally if we stop calling a number for promos, we will also stop texting promos to that number).

  • During a Call: If you happen to receive a call from us and you do not wish to receive further promotional calls, you can inform the caller right then. Our team is trained to handle such requests politely and immediately. They will mark your number as do-not-call in our system.

  • Via Text Message: To opt out of promotional text messages, simply reply “STOP” to any promotional text we send. This will automatically opt your number out of that text campaign or list. You should receive a confirmation text that you have been unsubscribed. (Note: replying “STOP” to our texts will stop all texts we send to you for marketing; it will not necessarily cancel appointment reminders or responses to your direct inquiries, as explained in Scope above. If you want to stop all texts, including reminders, please contact us so we can note that preference manually.)

When making an opt-out request, please be sure to provide the exact phone number(s) in question. If you have multiple numbers or a family plan and want all those numbers on our DNC list, list each one. We only suppress the specific numbers requested. We do not require any additional information beyond the number, but providing your name can help ensure we accurately record the request (especially if someone else might share your phone or if you have multiple accounts with us).

4. Processing Your Request
We will process Do Not Call/Do Not Text requests as promptly as possible. Typically, we add your number to our internal DNC list within 1-3 business days of receiving your request. In no case will it take more than 30 days to honor your opt-out, in line with legal requirements. Please understand that due to scheduling, you might receive a communication that was already in progress during the short period after your request (for example, a promotion text scheduled the morning you opted out). We ask for your patience if you receive any call or text in the interim; after the processing period, you should no longer receive promotional communications.

Once processed, your opt-out will remain in effect indefinitely (at least 5 years, and typically as long as we retain records) unless you request otherwise. This means we will keep your number on our internal DNC list and will not contact you again for marketing purposes, even if you might fit a future campaign, unless you later provide new consent. If you change your mind later and wish to receive communications again, you may request to be removed from the DNC list or simply opt in through one of our standard consent methods.

5. Confirmation of Opt-Out
For text message opt-outs, as noted, our system will usually send a one-time confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive messages. For phone call opt-outs, we do not typically call you to confirm (to respect your request not to be called), but you may request confirmation via email if desired. If you email or call us with a DNC request, we can reply (by email or mail) to confirm that we have added your number to our DNC list if you need reassurance. Otherwise, absence of further marketing calls is evidence of your successful opt-out.

6. National Do Not Call Registry
Snoh Wellness also honors the National Do Not Call Registry maintained by the Federal Trade Commission. If your number is registered on the national DNC list, we will not call that number for telemarketing purposes except as allowed by law (for example, if you have an existing business relationship with us or have given prior written consent, such as by opting in on a form). However, being on the national registry will not prevent transactional or informational calls from us, similar to our own policy scope above. For comprehensive telemarketing avoidance, we encourage individuals to register their number at donotcall.gov if they have not done so already. Registration is free and must be done by you; once you are on the national list for 31 days, telemarketers are required to refrain from calling you. We already incorporate national DNC filtering in our processes.

7. Exceptions & Important Notes

  • Business Relationship Exception: If you are an active client (for example, you have a class package or upcoming appointments), we may contact you about those services even if you are on the DNC list, as these are not “cold calls” but rather part of our ongoing relationship. However, we will not use an existing relationship to justify unrelated marketing. If you tell us even during an ongoing relationship that you don’t want promotional updates, we will honor that.

  • Referrals: If someone refers you to Snoh Wellness (say a friend signs you up for a gift class), we will attempt to ensure they had your permission. If we contact you due to a referral and you weren’t expecting it, please inform us and we will not continue. We treat such one-time outreaches carefully, but they are rare and usually initiated by you or your friend filling a form.

  • Third-Party Marketing: Snoh Wellness does not typically employ third-party telemarketing agencies. In the unlikely event we did, we would contractually require them to comply with this Policy. If you ever receive a call about Snoh Wellness from a third party and are unsure of its legitimacy, please notify us. We are not responsible for calls made by independent parties not authorized by us. Always be cautious of scams – if someone claims to represent Snoh Wellness and asks for sensitive info over the phone, verify their identity by contacting us directly.

  • Confirmation and Reminder Contacts: If you have opted out of marketing calls/texts but you still want appointment reminders, please clarify that with us. We can configure our system to avoid sending you promos but still send necessary reminders. Conversely, if you opt out of all communications, we will refrain from even reminders, so you will need to keep track of your appointments via email or other means. We can discuss accommodations if needed (for instance, reminders via email only). Our aim is not to inconvenience you, but to respect your preferences.

8. Record-Keeping
We maintain records of all Do Not Call and Do Not Text requests, including the number to be blocked and the date of the request. This helps ensure compliance and provides a trail in case of any discrepancies. We conduct periodic audits of our calling practices and DNC list to ensure numbers are not inadvertently being contacted after opt-out. Additionally, our systems log when STOP messages are received via SMS and automatically exclude those numbers from future blasts on that campaign.
